Dan is the Director of Investments of the Initiative for Smallholder Finance (ISF) at the Global Development Incubator, based in New York. Dan supports ISF's investment pipeline development, targeted market research, and multi-stakeholder facilitation in the smallholder finance sector. Dan joined ISF from Dalberg where he was a senior project manager specializing in agriculture and access to finance. Previously, he worked for Booz & Company, Standard Chartered Bank, and Plan International. Dan holds an MBA with honors from Cornell's Johnson Business School and a BA from Princeton University in neuroscience. He has lived and worked in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Craig Courtney is founder and managing partner of Tamarack Partners, a private financial advisory company specializing in innovative solutions for international development finance. Previously, he was director, external relations, at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, where he oversaw resource mobilization, strategic communications/advocacy and private-sector partnerships. He was behind GAIN's innovative use of its funding to support program-related investments in partnership with the Acumen Fund, Root Capital and the International Finance Corporation. Courtney gained extensive experience raising capital and advising public, private and nonprofit entities during over 20 years in investment banking in Asia and Europe. During that period, Courtney worked for HSBC James Capel and ABN AMRO Rothschild, where he was a managing director in corporate finance. He has an M.B.A. from Cornell University and a bachelor's in economics/development studies and viticulture/enology from the University of California, Davis.
