You are cordially invited to an evening with thought leaders representing the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.

Join Kate Walsh, Dean and E. M. Statler Professor, School of Hotel Administration, who will provide an update on the college followed by a moderated discussion with industry experts focusing on The Business of Social Innovation.

Innovation is arguably the most important topic in the business world today, helping companies stay ahead of the curve, maintain a competitive edge, and gain global advantage. Industry experts will discuss their blueprint to social innovation including its impact on the future of the workforce and how innovation is changing how we engage with each other.

Vana is a Cornell University, Hotel School graduate with an MBA from Oxford University. Vana started her career in banking at Nomura in London and is currently an entrepreneur, focused on marketing and business development. In 2015, Vana was runner-up on The Apprentice on BBC.

On Valentine's Day 2017, Vana launched a dating app called DatePlay, which was funded via crowdfunding in the UK. Vana brings her experience in crowdfunding to advise RedCrow, a company based in San Francisco.

Vana is half Colombian, half Greek, and was raised in New York City. Vana is passionate about getting young women into tech.

Brad joined Facebook London in early 2013, where he is a leader in the Global Marketing Solutions team. His teams work with clients, agencies, and partners in these industries to drive business results on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp.

Prior to Facebook, Brad spent nearly 12 years at the global research company Nielsen with roles in New York and London where most recently he was the Managing Director for EMEA of NM Incite, a Nielsen and McKinsey & Co. joint venture. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration. Brad lives in London with his wife and two young boys and can be found staying active and traveling with his family as often as he can
