Founded in 2001, the fund's structure is evergreen in which realized returns are reinvested continually. BRV invests up to $150,000 in US- based companies across all industries, and its position on Cornell's campus provides proprietary deal flow, allowing the fund unique access to promising ventures and technology. With 9 current portfolio companies, $1.6 million under management and top quartile performance, BRV is one of the only student-run VC funds in the country.
Through BRV we provide mentorship, connectivity, and investment for startups from Cornell, New York State, and the entire country. And we're a key aspect of Dean Dutta's plans to promote entrepreneurship at Cornell.
We are currently recruiting AMBAs as BRV Summer Associates to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital process by completing comprehensive due diligence procedures on potential BRV investments. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with BRV's VC partners, Johnson faculty, and fellow AMBAs in completing the due diligence process.
Attendance at the due diligence training will be necessary for future associates. Training info and schedule is forthcoming.
