Career Luncheon – PARs

“What are your greatest strengths?”
“Tell me about a time you lead a team during a difficult situation”
“When have you failed at a task?”
 
These are classic examples of Behavioral Interview questions that you can expect to be asked in an interview, regardless of the function you are pursing.
 
In this interactive session you will learn the PAR framework for tackling behavioral interview questions, and have an opportunity to craft several “PAR” answers to standard behavioral questions.  We will also discuss the psychology behind many common behavioral interview questions to help you build even more effective PAR responses.  
 
Finally, attendees will also learn about JPAY+, a CMC tool that houses hundreds of interview questions that Johnson students have gotten during their interview processes.  Questions are organized by function, industry, company, position, and interview round (first, second, third/final).
 
*This session is open to AMBAs and Cornell Tech students, and will serve as the basis for this week’s Career Work Group discussions.  Lunch will be provided*
