Mr. Le Page's career includes over 23 years management experience in farming, agri-business, high value horticulture, and rural development in Africa, Asia and US. He is the founder and President of Heartland Global and has consulted for the World Bank, agri-business, trade associations and non-profits.

Prior to starting the consulting practice Mr. Le Page was CEO of the CGIAR Consortium, the world largest public agriculture and natural resources research institution, spanning 15 research centers globally, operating in over 200 location, and supported by 64 National government and private foundation donors such as the World Bank, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, US-AID, and DFID.

He has a demonstrated passion for new business and enterprise development through technology transfer, research and market innovation, stakeholder engagement, creative partnerships and mutually beneficial growth. Mr. Le Page has co-founded several non-profit organizations and served on many non-profit boards as well as agricultural advisory groups. He speaks regularly in public forum about the role of business in emerging markets, particularly Africa.
