Drury MacKenzie has developed several entrepreneurial ventures and has worked across several geographies, Haiti, Africa, LATAM, Europe and Asia. Inspired by her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Haiti, much of her past work focused on developing technology and business models to serve off-grid energy needs, one of which resulted in $8 mil investment.

At Avangrid Networks (Iberdrola’s US utilities), Drury has led a number of smart grid platform pilots, from setting the vision and strategy through to implementation. Projects include a range of technologies, integrations and use cases, such as aggregated BTM batteries, customer segmentation and engagement, GreenButton Connect, TOU rates, EV coordinated charging/deadline differentiated pricing, NY joint utility blockchain working group.

Drury has a BA in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges (junior year at Saint Andrews University, Scotland) and a MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
