Building on the success of last year’s event, this fall, the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University will host our third annual Diversity Symposium. The Diversity Symposium is a student-led collaboration between the Black Graduate Business Association (BGBA), the Latino Business Students Association (LBSA), the Women's Management Council (WMC), Out for Business (O4B) and the undergraduate Minority Business Students Association (MBSA). The mission is to create a holistic platform for participants to engage and educate one another on the latest issues and exchange ideas related to diversity and business.
The Experience
The theme of this year’s symposium is “Diversify Your Portfolio.” It will be held on Friday, October 18, 2012, in conjunction with Johnson’s diversity recruitment weekend, Johnson Means Business. The symposium will begin with an exclusive, pre-conference luncheon on Friday, October 18 at noon. Designed to attract students and professionals alike, the event will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and more.
The Opportunity
The Black Graduate Business Association (BGBA), the Latino Business Students Association (LBSA), the Women's Management Council (WMC), Out for Business (O4B), invite you to partner with us as a conference sponsor. Sponsorship provides a great opportunity to not only support the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Johnson, and Cornell University, but also to gain early access to top, diverse MBA candidates and undergraduate students early in the annual cycle. Conference sponsorship ranges from $2,500 to $7,500, and customized packages may be available.
