Leadership Crisis Challenge
Do You Have What it Takes? Co-Sponsored by Student Council
- Present a crisis response plan to a “Board of Directors” comprised of industry executives, legal experts, subject matter experts, media relations experts and management scholars
- Prepare a press release detailing your plan to the general public
- Negotiate a live press conference (if you make the finals), fielding questions from actual reporters and members of the press
In addition to gaining valuable experience that will serve you well in your career, you’ll also:
- Have the chance to compete for cash, prizes, and glory, including a $2,000 grand prize
- Get to attend a large reception after the event where you can meet and network with the “Board of Directors” and other participants
- Earn 0.5 LSP credits*
- Have fun!
The Details
Dates: The event kicks off in the Dyson Atrium at 5pm on Friday, April 25 and will be “live” for the next 24 hours. It concludes with a reception at 4:15pm on Saturday, April 26.
Teams: Students should form teams of 4 people. You choose the team members, and your team can be any mix of Johnson students—first-years, second-years, AMBAs, and/or exchange students.
How to Register: Once you have formed your team, each member should sign up here on CampusGroups. Please be prepared to list the members of your team and to provide a team name.
*Please note: Exchange students cannot use LSP credits toward their required credit total. All other Johnson students can use up to 1.5 LSP and/or MSP credits toward graduation.
