This hands-on workshop is designed for those who have not worked extensively with PowerPoint other than adding text and a few graphics. It will cover the basics along with countless tips and tricks. Really, it is the tips and tricks you will learn that will make you a more efficient user and someone who others go to because s/he knows how to use PowerPoint.

We will: work with slide masters (including adding a new layout to the master view), add text to slides, format and change fonts, add and format graphics, reorganize and change bullets, work with color schemes and slide backgrounds, add drawing objects, insert movies and sounds, and add basic animation. We will also review graphs and charting as well as SmartArt.

"Students need to bring their WINDOWS laptop with PowerPoint 2010 or PowerPoint 2013 installed and their wireless internet connection enabled.  Mac users are welcome, but please be aware, the interface is significantly different."
