2017 ROMBA Conference & 20th Anniversary Gala
Details
Reaching Out MBA, Inc., now a year-round non-profit organization, originally launched as a conference to provide LGBTQ business school students with a resource to make connections with other LGBT students and business professionals. The first conference brought together about 100 LGBTQ students.
While the organization has grown year-round, the Reaching Out LGBTQ MBA & Graduate Conference is our marquee program. The conference presents a dynamic line-up of industry speakers, workshops and panelists representing all sectors of the business community, from finance and entrepreneurship to non-profits and entertainment & media.
Last year in 2016 over 1,400 students, prospective LGBTQ MBAs and business graduates, professional business leaders, alumni and recruiters joined us at the 19th annual ROMBA conference in Dallas.
The 2017 Reaching Out LGBTQ MBA & Business Graduate Student Conference provides future lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender leaders from around the world the opportunity to network, learn, and improve their skills so they will emerge stronger and more confident in the business world. Leading businesses partner with the conference to show support for the LGBTQ community and recruit top level talent.
New this year, with it being the 20th ROMBA Conference (in Boston, October 12-14) we will add a new entire day's worth of content specifically designed for LGBTQ MBA alumni on Saturday, October 14th. We'll also celebrate the organization's history and future at our 20th Conference Gala on Saturday, October 14th.
