FAQ
- Partners, friends, family, welcome! Register them as your +1
- There is no obligation to stay overnight, you're welcome to join us for daytime activites and then head back to Ithaca.
- Funded by GPSAFC. Open to the Graduate Community.
- We will definitely cover drinking water, lunch/dinner, and all parking/park reservation fees. For now, tents and sleeping bags are up to participants to rent, and gas should be shared by each car...but keep your receipts just in case we find enough money in the budget to cover these supplies as well.
BATHROOMS
- At the group campsite, restroom ammenities are pit-toilet only and hand sanitizer. Near the waterfall pool, restroom ammenities include regular toilet and shower facilities but we'll only be in that area on Saturdy afternoon and it otherwise be pretty far away from the group campsite. Assess how comfortable you are with that before registering!
- There is no running water at the group campsite. We will provide 1 gallon of water per attendee.
INFO
Robert H. Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty, with the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, to where visitors can see a mile-and-a-half down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Campers can choose from tent or RV sites or cabins. Enjoy nine miles of hiking trails, or swim in a stream-fed pool beneath a waterfall. Swimming is allowed in lifeguarded area only.
