Special Election - SC Health and Wellness Chair!

Class of 2016,
Student Council is pleased to announce the addition of a new Student Council Chair - "Health & Wellness Chair" - to Student Council!

We would like to hold a special election for this seat, to allow the new chair to prepare over the summer, and interact with both classes in the upcoming year until the next Student Council Election!
We are doing so because:
• This is a concept that has successfully existed in a "club" with past classes, but has not seen continuity, while the need for stress & health management has continue to exist.
• Several items of feedback to Student Council this year & last have centered around stress, health management, mental health, and nutrition
• A Chair Position helps manage issues of health and wellness for the entire school, helps to champion those issues with positive programming, and provides another connection point between students, faculty, administration and health/wellness/nutrition staff.

If you are interested in running for this position, here is what you need to do:
Collect 15 Signatures from Class of 2016!
Submit these signatures & platforms to mailbox of Diana Narvaez and/or dn266@cornell.edu by Saturday, May 9th!
Be open to receive questions via email/in person between Sunday, May 10th and Wednesday, May 13th during elections!
Receive Results on May 13th!!!!
