Small group discussion with Larry Ruff '82

Larry Ruff is an independent Board Director, Strategic Advisor and Consultant focused on the areas of growth strategy, social entrepreneurship, sustainability, modern marketing and digital transformation. Larry has experience working with small, medium and large for-profit corporations, global brands, higher education, non-profits, start-ups, social entrepreneurs and financial institutions.
 

Larry serves on the Board of Directors for Fair Trade USA and is also Chair of the Fair Trade Board’s Nominating & Governance Committee. Larry is also a member of the Advisory Boards for SmartStory™ Technologies, Inc. and Dawson Dance SF. Larry worked for Levi Strauss & Company for over 25 years holding a variety of leadership positions in marketing, global brand management, strategy and general management. In his role as Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, Larry led creation of the Company’s growth strategy and global operating model.  He also served as Levi Strauss & Company’s Global Marketing Officer and as Chief Marketing Officer for the Levi’s Brand. 
 

Larry received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Rutgers College and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
