Tara Murphy is Chief Executive Officer of Bee’s Wrap, LLC, located in Middlebury, Vermont. Prior to joining Bee’s Wrap, Tara was President & CEO of Vermont Smoke & Cure which was acquired by Johnsonville Sausage, LLC,  in 2020.  Tara started her career with Procter & Gamble where she held numerous positions across technical and commercial functions over 17 years.  Later, she ran US Home Care for Reckitt Benckiser and then started up a new cold drink maker for Keurig Green Mountain which sold into a joint venture with Anheuser Busch and markets today as “Drink Works”. 



Tara currently sits on the Board of Directors of Vermont’s Original Bag Balm skin care and Autumn Harp personal care manufacturing.  Tara formerly sat on the Board of Directors of Solid Gold pet food until its acquisition by Health & Happiness Group of Hong Kong.



Tara holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s mechanical engineering program.  Tara’s claim to fame at Cornell was her leadership of the national champion Hybrid Electric Vehicle team. She teaches entrepreneurial marketing, annually at the Johnson School and sits on the Board of Advisors to Cornell’s Sibley school of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. 



Tara is married with 3 children ages 15-23 and owns a 165-acre regenerative agriculture farm called, High Hedge in Charlotte, VT.  She is an avid reader, community member & wellness enthusiast.
