The speakers are CEOs of companies they have searched and acquired:

Bob Boniface is the Co-CEO and co-owner of TransTech Inc, North Carolina’s largest CDL training organization. Before that, he was a co-founder and managing director at Polar Peak Capital, a partnered, traditional search fund.
Bob earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Vanderbilt. Prior to business school, Bob worked in manufacturing finance at General Motors.
He was born and raised near Detroit in Bloomfield Hills, MI, and is a third generation car guy.

Artur Martins holds a degree in Business Administration from Insper, in São Paulo, Brazil, and obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Prior to his MBA, Artur worked in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team of J.P. Morgan and was part of the Private Equity team of NEO Investimentos for 7 years, a Brazilian private-equity firm that invests in middle-market companies.
While pursuing his MBA in Chicago, Artur founded Kilimanjaro Capital, a search fund, raising capital from American, European and Brazilian investors. After 18 months of operation, Kilimanjaro Capital acquired Labsoft Tecnologia, the leading company in Brazil in the LIMS (laboratory information management system) market.
Since January 2022, Artur has been CEO of Labsoft.
