Details
Participants will compete in teams to craft bold solutions to pressing challenges facing the tech industry today. The competition is designed to test your strategic thinking, creativity, and ability to connect business insight with technology. A panel of judges composed of tech alumni, industry professionals, and Johnson faculty will evaluate submissions and presentations, selecting the team that best embodies innovation and impact.
This inaugural event combines the excitement of a hackathon, the energy of pitch presentation, with the rigor of a strategy competition. Finalists will present their ideas live at Microsoft’s NYC office, gaining exposure to company alumni and an opportunity to make their mark on HTC history.
SCHEDULE
October 20 - 27: Team Form Submission Period (link below)
October 31: Prompt drop
November 6: First-round presentation judging in Ithaca
November 14: Finals at Microsoft Office (NYC)
**Finalists: Student Council will be providing Title-Town funding to help partially offset travel costs associated with the event.
TEAM FORMATION & ELIGIBILITY
- Teams of up to 4 SC Johnson students
- Must include at least 2 first-year students
- Teams may include members from other Johnson clubs but must have 2 High Tech Club members
- Open to 1st years, 2nd years, and Cornell Tech MBA students
NOTE: If you do not have a full team, you can submit a partial team and register as an individual - HTC will pair incomplete teams together.
