Stock Camp - One-day Fundamental Investment Research Seminar

 
TIMING: Saturday, August 27, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM 

Available for Two-Year MBA Class of 2024, MPS, Baker, and AMBA students.

Goals:

1. Learn the basics of fundamental research
2. Identify a stock to study
3. Begin to prepare a one-page stock report
4. Discuss next steps for learning more about fundamental research and careers in investment management

Venue:

1. Instructor leads the discussion in key steps for conducting proprietary, fundamental research using primary sources and preparing written recommendations
2. Students spend much of the day conducting research using online sources under the guidance of the instructor
3. Organized jointly by the Parker Center for Investment Management, the Investment Management Club and the Investing@Cornell interdisciplinary theme.
