featuring

General George W. Casey
Distinguished Senior Lecturer of Leadership and Senior Lecturer of Management

Leading in Our VUCA World

Have you ever worked in a volatile, uncertain, complex, or ambiguous environment? Do you wish you had the knowledge to better address these circumstances and to lead your team?

General Casey will offer attendees his take on how to lead in a VUCA world. An acronym first used by the American Military to describe what the world would be like after the demise of the Soviet Union, the VUCA concept was adopted by the business world after the global crisis of 2008 and 2009 and has since been featured heavily in the development of leadership skills.

After graduating from  Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, General Casey served a 41-years career in the US Army. He is a decorated veteran and an accomplished authority on strategic leadership.  He now serves as an international lecturer who advises leaders of national and multinational corporations as well as students at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.
