THE ASIA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

CALL-TO-ACTION PLAN FOR THE JOHNSON COMMUNITY

Johnson Community,

We as a Johnson community must stand together against the atrocities that took place in Atlanta the week of March 15, 2021, as well as the escalating discrimination and violence since the onset of the pandemic.

To our Asian student body, the Asia Business Association (ABA) is here to support you and listen to you during these difficult times.

To our allies, we encourage you to speak out, support Asian nonprofits and local businesses, use your platforms to amplify messages of anti-Asian hate, and get involved with our various Asian professional clubs here at Johnson.

ABA is dedicated to uplifting the AAPI community here at Johnson, in the business world and beyond.

  • Speak out if you witness a hate crime or incident
  • Report the hate crime or incident
  • Learn about the history of Asian American discrimination and then advocate for awareness
  • Donate
  • Support local Asian-owned businesses

To Asians, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders in our community: We stand together with you.

Sincerely,

The Asia Business Association
