Robert H. Treman Park Swimming & Hiking Trip (optional)

There will be one 56 passenger bus to go to Robert Treman Park on July 13, 2019. The bus will be leaving from Sage Hall Bus Stop at exactly 1:00pm and will depart from the park promptly at 4:30pm and have you back to the Sage Hall Bus Stop by 5:00pm.

We will provide some bottled water, apples, bananas and granola bars to send with you on the bus. Feel free to pack your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note: alcoholic beverages are not allowed, especially in large groups.

If you plan to go:

Hiking - wear appropriate hiking clothing, wear fabrics that wick away moisture. You'll also want to wear closed toe hiking shoes or boots.

Swimming - don't forget your swim suit and towel!

Lastly, don't forget sunblock or bug spray!

Robert H. Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty, with the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, to where visitors can see a mile-and-a-half down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Enjoy nine miles of hiking trails, or swim in a stream-fed pool beneath a waterfall. Swimming is allowed in lifeguarded area only.
