This lecture series is named in honor of Percy Allen II, a 1975 graduate of the Sloan Program in Health Administration. It was established by Mr. Allen's Sloan classmates to honor his contributions to urban hospitals and health organizations and to provide students with the opportunity to consider issues of access, excellence, community, and the quality of care in urban settings. This annual event brings to campus a prominent Black healthcare leader working to tackle the healthcare needs of under-served populations in urban communities.

The fourth Biennial Percy Allen II '75 Sloan Lecture in Urban Healthcare Leadership will feature a keynote address by Ruth Williams-Brinkley, the Regional President, Mid-Atlantic States at Kaiser Permanente and event hosts Percy Allen II '75, Clifford E. Barnes '72, and Dr. Andre Lee '72. Williams-Brinkley has been named one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare and Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare multiple times, and has been noted one of the Top 10 most admired CEOs in healthcare.

Healthcare Club members have been graciously invited to attend by the College of Human Ecology, Sloan Program in Health Administration.
