Each fall, F. Warren Ellish, visiting senior lecturer of marketing at Johnson and Founder, President and CEO of Ellish Marketing Group, partners with Johnson's Marketing Association to bring the Marketing Executive Coaching Program (MECP) to life. At MECP, students have the unique opportunity to get first-hand, one-on-one advice from some of the country’s top marketing executives and executive recruiters regarding navigating careers and developing as leaders.

In addition to Johnson's MBA students, also invited to participate are junior and senior undergraduates from Cornell's Hotel and Dyson School programs, students at Cornell Tech, and Cornell's EMBA students, all of whom benefit from the visiting executives' insights and wealth of experience.

Last year, approximately 60 executives traveled to Ithaca from all over the country to attend MECP. The event kicks off with an executive panel and networking session, which is followed the next day by multiple rounds of one-on-one coaching sessions between executives and student participants. Additional programming covers post-graduation career-building and strategies to tackle challenges for women in business.
