Description

Join the Marketing Association for its annual trek to NYC!

When/Where?
Tuesday 12/12 through Thursday 12/14 in the NYC metropolitan area
OPTIONAL: Friday 12/15 in Lakeville, MA (please sign up separately)

What’s the schedule?
Tuesday 12/12: Colgate (11:00 – 1:00) // Citi (2:30 – 4:30) // Twitter (5:00-6:00) (optional)
Wednesday 12/13: American Express (8:00 – 12:00) // DanoneWave (2:00 – 5:00)
Thursday 12/14: Reckitt Benckiser (time TBD)
Friday 12/15: Ocean Spray (10:15 – 12:30) (optional, see separate event)

What if I’m only interested in some of those companies?
If you're coming on the trek and unless it’s otherwise stated, attendance is mandatory for all events. Even if a company isn't your first choice, you'll still get plenty of free food and swag!

Where do I sleep? How do I get there?
MA dues are not enough to cover NYC lodging, but I'll send out a Google doc to help organize hotel room splitting and carpooling down to the city. The good news is that companies will provide plenty of breakfasts and lunches.

Is this worth it?
100% completely absolutely totally yes. It’s a great way to get face time with Johnson alumni and marketers who are invested in our success and to see firsthand where you could be spending your summer internship. A lot of first-years get their warm and fuzzies on this trip. There’s also some downtime when we can have fun – I’ve heard karaoke legends from treks past...

I’m not sure…
Go ahead and RSVP now because this is a general headcount. Your acceptance is not binding until 12/6.

I still have questions…
Please send questions to Nick Marmet: nrm73@cornell.edu.
