Resume books of all participants will be distributed to representatives of sponsoring firms, who are hoping to identify talent for recruitment pipelines at this forum. Interested/selected students will have the opportunity to pitch a stock to judges and recruiters from sponsoring firms and to interview with firms for summer internships if selected. More than 60 MBA students from 10-12 universities and representatives from approximately 15 top-tier investment management firms are expected to attend.
Eligibility: The WIN Conference is designed primarily for first-year MBA students graduating in 2027 who are interested in exploring careers in investment management though second years may also apply and attend. Up to 4 students can participate in the stock pitching team. WIN is an inclusive event and interested students of all gender identities are welcome to apply.
Application due October 3 at 11:59 AM EST: The Parker Center for Investment research at Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business would like to invite interested first and second-year MBA students to apply to participate in our MBA Women in Investing Conference. The conference takes place on Thursday, November 20 – Friday, November 21 in Boston, MA. The Cornell MBA Women in Investing (WIN) Conference is designed to educate MBA students about careers in the asset management industry, where women are vastly underrepresented in investment management roles, and facilitate networking and recruiting opportunities with sponsoring firms.
