Grand Challenges Coaches Info Session

Dyson Grand Challenges is a community-engaged learning curriculum which allows undergraduate student teams to apply their learning on capstone projects which address local and global development challenges. The program aims to develop socially responsible business leaders with the ability to solve complex problems. 

Grand Challenges Coaches is an opportunity to support the Grand Challenges student teams while also developing your leadership skills. Selected MBA students will have the opportunity to develop and practice leadership coaching skills in an applied context, taking on a paid Course Assistant role while also attending required trainings and receiving Leadership Skills Program (LSP) credit for that portion of the experience. This is a great opportunity to learn a skill which can be critical as a leader in the workforce, whether you are a manager coaching an employee's development or a project lead coaching a team through a sticking point. Coaching helps leaders to engage their teams differently and to spur their success in ways that surpass the outcome of simple task direction.

Eligibility: This program is open to residential MBA students in good academic standing who will be located in Ithaca during the upcoming semester.
