**NYC Tech Trek | Fall 2026** | Oct 23rd starting @ 10am
*Hosted by the High Tech Club (HTC) and Big Red Tech Club (BRTC)*
Spend a day inside some of New York's top tech companies. The NYC Tech Trek is an in-person visit to several companies. You'll go behind the scenes at their offices, hear from Cornell alumni and recruiters, and ask questions about roles, teams and recruiting. The day ends with a joint HTC × BRTC mixer for students and alumni.

**🚆 Getting there**
**Travel to and from NYC is on your own. There is no group bus this year.** Please book your own transportation and plan to be in the city by the time of your first visit (details come with your assignment). Popular options from Ithaca are OurBus, Coach USA/Short Line, Cornell Campus-to-Campus or carpooling with classmates. If you're driving and have open seats, post them in the trek group chat.
**🗓 Day-of schedule**
- **Daytime:** Company visits. Times and addresses come with your assignment.
- **5:30–7:30 PM:** HTC × BRTC post-trek mixer at Sir Henry's (795 8th Ave, 3rd Floor). Handheld food and one drink ticket (beer/wine) per attendee.
**✅ Before you go**
- Bring your Cornell ID and a government-issued photo ID, since most offices check ID at the front desk.
- Arrive at each office 10–15 minutes early to allow for building security.
- Getting between offices is on your own. Plan for the subway. We advise you stick with your group
- Research your companies ahead of time. Hosts love specific questions.
**Questions?** Contact Aidan Smith-Eppsteiner (ats258@cornell.edu) for HTC/Johnson or Isoken Osagie (aio27@cornell.edu) for BRTC/Cornell Tech.
