Expert baker and owner of Binxy Bakes, Lauren Meehan will instruct the class to bake a delicious, warm apple crisp that will be paired with a wine recommended by Johnson's Wine Club.
Please register and purchase the following ingredients to participate:
- For the apple mixture:
• 7 apples (a mix of apples + 1 granny smith)
• ┬╝ cup water
• ┬╝ tsp salt
• 1 tablespoon cinnamon
• Pinch of nutmeg
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- For the crumb topping:
• ┬¥ cup flour
• Ôàô cup butter, softened
• ┬╝ tsp cinnamon
• Pinch of nutmeg
• ┬¢ cup brown sugar
• ┬¢ cup granulated sugar
- For the cinnamon whipped cream (feel free to purchase whipped cream or ice cream instead!):
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
