NBA 5920 Experience in International Management - Israel

April 1-9, 2017 (Cornell University spring break)

Professor Ori Heffetz

This trip course provides students with an opportunity to visit Israel and to learn about its business and economic environment while experiencing its landscape, people, and cultures. With a population of less than 8 million, yet roughly the world’s 40th largest economy, this technologically advanced market economy is always brimming with entrepreneurial and economic activity. Its location at the heart of the Middle East, right between Asia and Africa; its close trade (and other) relations with Europe and North America; and its complex history and present—reflected in its domestic, regional, and international politics—make a study visit to Israel a valuable educational experience.
