Battle of the Brands is a unique action-based learning experience that is a highlight for many in the Johnson community. During this popular marketing case competition, teams of first-year Johnson students engage in a high-profile competition to create an effective marketing strategy for real branded products provided by company sponsors, with the students and faculty of Johnson as the target market.
Student teams collect and analyze data, use insights to segment, target the "Sage Marketplace," position their product, and execute a campaign in the run-up to a Sage Social marketplace, where they compete to sell the most products to a crowd of 500+ eager guests.
