Breazzano Family Center for Business Education

The Breazzano Center, in the heart of Ithaca's Collegetown neighborhood, dramatically expands Johnson's teaching capacity. Modern in design, the 76,000-square-foot building offers tiered and flat classrooms, two high-definition broadcast studios, 19 breakout rooms, and a four-story atrium.

Restricted Access
Evening and weekend access is restricted to Johnson School MBA and MPS students and to authorized staff of the S.C. Johnson College of Business.

-Monday-Thursday: 5:00 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.
-Friday: 5:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
-Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
-Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 a.m.

Reservations
To request a space reservation in the Breazzano Center, please write Johnson School Room Requests. 

If you wish to serve food or beverages at your event, you must work with an approved, outside caterer. Please contact Johnson School Room Requests for more information.

Johnson School Spaces

Building Information
The Breazzano Center is a private facility and is not owned or operated by Cornell University. The building owner or its authorized agents may restrict access to the facility or request that you leave the premises at any time.

Please note that Breazzano breakout rooms are restricted to specific student population use.

- Baker Real Estate graduate students can reserve the lower-level breakout rooms. 

- Johnson MPS students can reserve the lower-level, 2nd, and 3rd-floor breakout rooms. 

- Johnson MBA students can reserve the 2nd and 3rd-floor breakout rooms.

Student Lockers

Day lockers are available on a limited basis; these have combination locks set to auto-unlock after 24 hours.

Smoking and Vaping

The sidewalk at the front entrance on Dryden Road is the ONLY area where smoking is permitted. Smokers must be 25 feet away from the facility. All other entrances and exits to and from Breazzano are smoke free. Vaping is not allowed anywhere inside the building.

Parent Room

A parent room is available on the fourth floor. Students with young children who would like access should contact the Johnson Student Activities Office. Faculty and staff should contact HR for access.

Meal Preparation

A refrigerator and microwave are available in the lower-level atrium for student use. Unclaimed items in the refrigerator are disposed of after 24 hours.

Medical Emergencies

Please dial 911 and notify building security. Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) are available on the first and fourth floor restroom corridors next to the water fountains.

Food and Beverage Policies

Food is not permitted in Breazzano classrooms. Drinks are allowed in covered containers.
