Cornell Commencement is an amazing weekend of celebrations large and small. It is the culmination of much hard work and perseverance by our students, and much love and support from those who care about them. This website provides information on Johnson School events, as well as links to Cornell University events and planning resources. You will find details at these links for each program: Residential MBA & PhD; Cornell Tech MBA; Executive MBA; Cornell-Tsinghua MBA.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
CONGRATULATIONS to our graduates, their friends, and families!

CEREMONIES: The Johnson School recognition ceremony on Saturday is the event where each graduate is individually recognized and walks across the stage. The Cornell University ceremony on Sunday is the event where the degree is actually conferred on each school as a whole. Each ceremony is an important part of celebrating the graduates' accomplishments, and you will want to participate in them both. No tickets are required for either event, and there is no limit on the number of guests who can attend. [In the unlikely event of severe weather on Sunday, the university may move to the Severe Weather Plan.]
ATTIRE: Throughout the weekend, dress comfortably (business casual is fine); be prepared for crowds and lots of walking; and for assorted weather (hot, wet, cold, etc.) Bartels Hall is not air conditioned, and there is little shade/coverage in Schoellkopf Stadium.
PARKING: For weekend parking information, visit this page. For MOBILITY IMPAIRED PARKING ONLY, you must apply for a yellow mobility impaired permit from the University, in order to enter the east end of Campus Road (by Wing Drive) on Saturday to park in the MOBILITY IMPAIRED metered lot next to Bartels Hall or the Parking Garage.
